Parenting Journey is a program to promote the well being and development of children ages 0 - 18 and their families through home visiting.

Assist with family demands where guidance and support are needed
Help families navigate systems, including child protection and provide outside resources
Build on each family's strengths and knowledge to better align with desired outcomes for the future
If applicable, clarify transition requirements ordered by Child Protection Services
Understand behaviors and provide suggestions to strengthen family bonds
Accompany families to court appearances, medical appointments, and other support services.

If you’re aware of what Parenting Journey is and would like to participate, give us a call at 902-453-5089 ext 3. We will complete an intake with you and assign to you a Home Visitor depending on availability and your presenting challenges

How do I access the Food Bank?

Mulgrave Park Caring & Learning Centre does not have a food bank, but there is one next door to us. The food bank is open every Saturday between 10am-12pm. Please bring your photo ID if you are visiting for the first time.

Can I rent Centre equipment?

Yes, equipment from the Centre is available for rent to those residing within Mulgrave Park. We require a signed agreement.

What are your hours of operation?

Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
