How do I register for programs?

What is the Parenting Journey program?

Parenting Journey is a program to promote the well being and development of children ages 0 - 18 and their families through home visiting.

  • Assist with family demands where guidance and support are needed
  • Help families navigate systems, including child protection and provide outside resources
  • Build on each family's strengths and knowledge to better align with desired outcomes for the future
  • If applicable, clarify transition requirements ordered by Child Protection Services
  • Understand behaviors and provide suggestions to strengthen family bonds
  • Accompany families to court appearances, medical appointments, and other support services.

If you’re aware of what Parenting Journey is and would like to participate, give us a call at 902-453-5089 ext 3. We will complete an intake with you and assign to you a Home Visitor depending on availability and your presenting challenges

How do I access the Food Bank?

Mulgrave Park Caring & Learning Centre does not have a food bank, but there is one next door to us. The food bank is open every Saturday between 10am-12pm. Please bring your photo ID if you are visiting for the first time.

Can I rent Centre equipment?

Yes, equipment from the Centre is available for rent to those residing within Mulgrave Park. We require a signed agreement.

What are your hours of operation?

Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
